Theory of Change
BCWS takes a holistic approach to improving working conditions in Bangladesh, for RMG sector workers and beyond. Our Theory of Change focuses on improving the legal framework to ensure better occupational safety and health, advocating for better wages and wage equity between male and female workers, strengthening workers’ voice, particularly those of women workers, improving industrial relations and increasing accountability for gender-based violence. Through these avenues of action, we believe that we can bring about safe, equitable and accountable workplaces in the formal and informal sectors of Bangladesh.
